  • 1. About the trial meal
    Our tasting sessions are held on every Saturday of the week. When you visit our website, that's the first step for you to get to know about "Postpartum Kitchen" then the tasting sessions will give you a better idea of our services and products. What is the difference between a tasting menu and a set menu? The ordering process, the number of meals delivered and the quantity of disposable cutlery used are all the same. The difference is that the trial meal service is designed for expectant mothers and herbs and alcoholic ingredients are not included in the trial meal. After your trial meal, we will refund the full cost of your trial meal (excluding delivery) for any 30-day full-term package you have ordered.
  • 2.Delivery Fees
    Please refer to the following link (shipping schedule) for details of our delivery service areas, including San Francisco, East Bay, South Bay and Central Peninsula, etc. If your city of residence is not listed, please contact our Customer Service Department for further information (telephone).
  • 3.Delivery Time
    Our meals are made fresh daily and are carefully inspected at every step to ensure they are delivered safely to our customers. Our delivery area is quite extensive and there are some uncertainties in the traffic conditions on the road, so we are not sure what time the delivery will reach your place, but we do have a designated delivery time range, which is based on the city you live in, and we do not accept requests for delivery within a specific time frame. In addition, please keep your communications line available at the start of your delivery, so that our delivery team can operate as scheduled, if you have any special requests, please contact our customer service department in advance.
  • 4.Special Meal Request or Delivery Arrangement
    We are unable to serve customers with special dietary requirements at the moment, such as vegetarians, gluten allergies etc. Our team aims to provide you with the best service in terms of time efficiency, quality and safety. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Department before deciding on your order.
  • 5. About Our Cusine Style
    Each of our team of chefs has many years of experience in preparing confinement meals and has their own unique way of cooking, understanding the use of ingredients and combinations. Whether it is the traditional Chinese style or exotic cooking styles, we insist on not plagiarizing or trying to be exclusive and focus on providing you with the right, healthy and balanced menstrual meals.
  • 6. Why is there a package for caesarean section?
    We are committed to providing you with different needs for the same package price, and choosing a different delivery method is not the reason for the increase in our price. First of all, recovery from a caesarean section is much slower than from a natural birth, so you will need to consume more liquid and high fiber meals for a longer period of time to help with gas and wound healing. Otherwise, the postpartum diet is much the same as for natural birth. Of course, recovery depends on each individual's body constitution. The rest is up to you. If you are physically fit, you can exercise indoors to help the recoveries of uterus and improve blood circulation, which will help the wound heal faster and prevent intestinal adhesions and flatulence. >Pay attention to your personal hygiene and wound care. As your immune system is lowered after childbirth and you sweat more and produce more milk, it is important to change your clothes and hygiene products regularly and pay attention to the cleaning of your wounds to avoid postnatal infections. >Maintain a positive attitude and a reasonable work schedule. The care and support of your family is most important. Leave things to your family, sleep with your baby, talk to your family and friends, keep a cheerful state of mind, get enough rest and eat a healthy diet.

  • 8. How to store and reheat after receiving the meal
    Our meals are cooked on the same day and without any preservatives. Due to the different climates in different cities in the region and possible delays in delivery, please store your meals in the refrigerator as soon as possible after receiving them, as they are an important source of nutrition for the production mother's milk, it needs the same "refrigerated care" as breast milk. Our company has chosen to use disposable cutlery that meets safety standards and can be heated directly in the microwave. Our meals packages include breakfast, lunch and dinner and are labelled accordingly on the packaging. In addition, our delivery boxes (bags) will be collected the next day at the same time as the previous day's delivery, so please ensure they are cleaned properly. We do not collect disposable tableware after use, so please dispose of it.
  • 9.Ordering Process
    We offer you a simple and safe ordering process: choose a package > choose the delivery type > add to cart > fill out the order contract, health questionnaire > pay the deposit > complete the order > pay the remaining amount after delivery, we will give you a confirmation by phone or email within a day after we receive your order.
  • 10. What should I do if there is a problem with the order?
    Each customer is provided with two meal boxes (bags) for your personal use, please keep them clean. They will also be labelled with your name and delivery address, If you receive a meal that does not match your personal details, or if there is a problem with your meal, or if it is damaged, please take a photo and contact our customer service department immediately so that we can arrange resolving method for you.
  • 11. Tips Payment
    It is not compulsory to pay tip to our delivery team, but it is up to your preference. However, if any of our delivery staff have an unsolicited request, please inform our Customer Service Department in a timely manner and we will follow up and investigate the matter. We would appreciate for any of your feedback so that we can make corrections and better improvements.

    We will select the most suitable confinement meal for you and provide you with a full range of confinement medicinal diet and regimen to give you the most intimate care for your confinement period.
  • 13.关于停餐服务
    关于停餐服务,当您的订餐已经开始以后,期间需要暂停配送餐点,必须提前48小时提前通知我们。另外,30天以上的订单允许停餐两天。其它的套餐只限停餐一天。
